Questions
What do I need?
A computer with Chrome, Edge or Firefox. The first time you press Generate, Blendure downloads its model (about 230 MB) once; after that it starts straight away.
Does my music get uploaded?
No. Your files are read in your browser and kept there. Our server only gets the notes heard in them, to build each request for the model, and then forgets them, unless you tick "Share the notes of the tracks I upload" (off unless you choose it). With "Help improve Blendure" on, it keeps which of its own results you heart or export, and each sample's key, tempo and chords (never the melody), not linked to your email; switch it off in Settings and they're deleted. The privacy policy has the details.
When do my daily presses come back?
Every day at midnight UTC.
Where are the results I heart kept?
In your browser, on the computer you're using. They don't follow you to another computer or browser, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes them. Your account, rank and points are kept on our servers and follow you everywhere. To keep a result for good, download it as MIDI or WAV (Pro or a Session pack) and save it with your music.
Which browsers does it run in?
Blendure is made for a computer. It runs fastest in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. In Safari it writes more slowly, because Safari runs the model on one thread. On phones and tablets the model (197 MB) may not fit in memory, so use a computer.
Which DAWs does it work with?
Any DAW that opens MIDI files: Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic, Cubase, Bitwig, Reaper and others. Drag the file onto a track.
What do Feel and Close / Medium / Wild do?
Feel makes loops sound played rather than stamped on the grid: small changes in timing, how hard each note hits and how long it lasts. Off is exactly on the grid; Light, Medium and Strong loosen it more and more. It applies to what you hear, MIDI out and your MIDI downloads. Close, Medium and Wild set how far More like this goes from the result you picked: Close keeps most of it, Wild keeps only a bar or two and writes the rest freely.
I'm starting out and can't buy a DAW. Can I still use it?
Yes. Blendure runs in your browser and the free plan needs no payment. Its MIDI files work in free DAWs such as Waveform Free and Cakewalk, in GarageBand on a Mac, and in Ableton Live Lite, which comes free with many MIDI keyboards and controllers.
